Prime Big Deal Days 2026: Dehumidifier Prices to Beat (UK)

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days runs on 6 and 7 October 2026, 48 hours of Prime-only discounts. For dehumidifiers the timing is hard to ignore: it lands just as the heating goes on, the washing moves indoors and the first condensation appears on the windows.

The problem with any sale is the "was" price. A strikethrough figure tells you what a seller once asked, not what the product has actually been selling for. So this page recorded what each dehumidifier cost on Amazon UK on 25 September 2026, a week and a half before the event, and now shows what each one cost on 6 October with the event live.

Event update: what we saw on 6 October

We checked all 13 on the afternoon of 6 October. Only one has a Prime deal. The bigger story is stock: three of the 13 no longer have a standard Amazon offer at all.

The one real deal

• Honeywell 12L: £119.99, down from £159.50. That is £39.51 off, 25% below the price we recorded, and the "was" price on the listing matches what it actually cost. It now undercuts the EcoAir DC12 for a 12L compressor from a far better-known brand. It is sold by a third-party seller rather than Amazon, so check the returns terms.

Small drops, no deal badge

• Air Pro 20L: £149.99, down from £159.99. £10 off.
• MeacoDry Arete One 20L: £259.99, down from £261.00. £1.01 off, and Amazon showed only one left.

More expensive

• EcoAir DC12 MK3: £129.00, up from £123.99.

No change

• Hillington car bags (£8.49), Aironic twin pack (£19.99), Avalla X-300 (£99.98), Avalla X-350 (£109.99), Pro Breeze 30L (£189.99) and De'Longhi AriaDry (£219.93).

No longer available at a normal price

• Cosi Home 12L, Meaco DD8L and EcoAir DD1 Simple MK3 have all lost their main Amazon offer since 25 September. Each listing now shows only "See all buying options" from other sellers, flagged by Amazon as priced higher than typical. The Meaco DD8L page now points at the newer DD8L Pro, from £269.97.

That takes out our under-£100 benchmark and both desiccant picks. If you were waiting for a deal on one of those three, it is not coming this week.

Amazon releases new deals through the event, so prices can change again before it ends on 7 October.

How to use this list

1. Pick the type first, then the model. Compressor units are the cheapest to run in a heated home. Desiccant units keep working in cold garages, conservatories and caravans where compressors struggle. Our dehumidifier comparison by room size covers the choice in more detail.
2. Compare the event price against the 25 September price below, not against the "was" price on the listing.
3. Check it is sold by Amazon or the brand. Popular models keep dropping out of stock at Amazon and becoming available only from third-party sellers at higher prices. Three more have done so since we first published this page.

Prices before and during the event

The strikethrough prices have not moved

Four of these were already showing a strikethrough price before the event started. Three of them are showing exactly the same one now:

• Pro Breeze 30L Smart: still £189.99 against a listed £199.99.
• Avalla X-300: still £99.98 against a listed £119.99.
• Hillington 250g car bags: still £8.49 against a listed £9.99.

The fourth, the EcoAir DC12 MK3, has gone up to £129.00 against the same listed £133.38.

None of those is a Prime deal. They are the ordinary price with a line through a higher one, which is what we said to watch for.

Which ones to buy during the event

Under £130, one damp room: with the Cosi Home out of stock, the Honeywell 12L at £119.99 is now the pick. It was £40 dearer than the alternatives ten days ago and is now cheaper than the EcoAir DC12. Whole house or drying laundry indoors: the Air Pro 20L is £10 cheaper at £149.99, which widens its gap to the Pro Breeze 30L to £40. The Pro Breeze still gives you half as much capacity again, so it comes down to whether you need it.

Cold rooms, garages and caravans: this is the gap. Both desiccant units we track, the Meaco DD8L and EcoAir DD1, have lost their standard Amazon offer. We said any drop below £150 would be worth taking. Instead, the only offers are from other sellers at higher prices. If you need a desiccant unit now, check the seller and the price carefully, or wait for stock to return.

Still unavailable at Amazon

These five were showing as "currently unavailable" on 25 September, and all five still are on 6 October: Avalla X-150, Avalla X-200, Ebac 2250e, Meaco DD8L Junior and Midea DE 10L. None has come back as a Prime deal.

Was it worth waiting until 6 October?

For one model, yes: the Honeywell is £39.51 cheaper. For the other twelve, no. Nine cost the same or within a pound or two, one went up, and three went out of stock.

That is the pattern to remember for dehumidifiers. Demand rises sharply in October, so sellers have little reason to discount and stock tightens instead. If you have condensation or mould now, buy the one that suits the room at today's price. A dehumidifier costs pennies an hour to run, and a fortnight of damp walls costs more than most discounts will save.
