Avalla X-350 Dehumidifier & Air Purifier for Home & Office 12L

Avalla X-350 Dehumidifier & Air Purifier for Home & Office 12L

3.9 (39 reviews)

Avalla's 12L/day dehumidifier with a built-in ioniser, covering up to 46m² at 30dB. The current-generation successor to the X-125 and X-150, at a lower price than either.

Features

Avalla X-350 12L Dehumidifier and Air Purifier

The X-350 is the larger of Avalla's current pair, extracting 12L a day and covering up to 46m² — the same coverage the older X-150 offered, at a lower price and a much lower noise figure. It is the most direct replacement for the discontinued X-125 and X-150.

The ioniser is what separates it from the X-300

Beyond the extra 2L a day of extraction and the wider coverage, the X-350's real differentiator is a built-in ioniser. Avalla claim it breaks down airborne particles and deodorises the air. Treat the "eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and viruses" line with the scepticism any such claim deserves — it is a marketing figure, not an independently tested one. If you want damp control and nothing else, the X-300 does that for £10 less.

Room coverage and airflow

120m³/h of airflow across up to 46m² makes this a multi-room unit rather than a single-bedroom one, provided doors are left open. An automatic humidity sensor holds your set level, with two fan speeds and a 24-hour timer.

Drainage

The 2L tank is genuinely small for a 12L/day machine — at full tilt that is several empties a day. Continuous drainage is supported and is the realistic way to run this unit against persistent damp.

What to know before buying

  • No app or WiFi. As with the rest of the range, "smart" refers to the automatic humidity sensor and not to connectivity.
  • Amazon's own listing has a copy-paste error in its feature bullets, referring to the X-300's power draw on the X-350 page. Avalla quote 30dB and roughly 4p per hour for this model; we have not repeated the disputed kW/h figure here.
  • Rated 3.9 from 39 reviews, slightly below the X-300. Worth reading the recent reviews before committing.
  • Compressor design, so efficiency drops in unheated spaces. Choose a desiccant unit for a cold garage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Avalla X-350 have an app or WiFi?
No. There is no app and no WiFi on the X-350. As with the rest of the Avalla range, "smart" describes the automatic humidity sensor rather than any connectivity. Everything is controlled from the digital touch display on the unit.
What is the difference between the Avalla X-300 and X-350?
Three things. The X-350 extracts 12L a day against the X-300's 10L, covers up to 46m² against 38m², and adds a built-in ioniser for air purification. It costs around £10 more. If you only need damp control rather than air purification, the X-300 is the better value of the two.
What size room will the Avalla X-350 cover?
Up to 46m², with 120m³/h of airflow. That makes it a multi-room unit rather than a single-bedroom one, provided internal doors are left open so air can circulate between spaces.
Does the ioniser really eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses?
That is Avalla's own marketing claim and we have not seen independent testing behind it. The ioniser will help with airborne particles and odours, but treat the 99.9% figure as a manufacturer statement rather than a verified result. Buy it for the dehumidification first.
How often will the Avalla X-350 need emptying?
The tank is only 2L on a unit that can pull 12L a day, so in damp conditions you could be emptying it several times a day. Continuous drainage is supported and is the practical way to run it against persistent damp.
