Most insulated steel bottles make you choose between a seal that does not leak and a lid you can drink from without stopping. moon bottles' 500ml flask is an attempt to have both: a screw lid that has been leak-tested, with a stainless steel inner straw running to the base and a silicone spout that folds flat when you are not using it. You drink one-handed, and the spout tucks away so nothing catches in a bag.
The insulation is conventional and none the worse for it — 18/8 stainless steel, double-walled vacuum construction, quoted at 24 hours cold and 12 hours hot. Those are the standard numbers for a bottle of this size and build. Treat them as a full bottle, lid shut, left alone; a half-empty bottle opened every twenty minutes will not get near them.
The straw is the whole point, and it has a cost
A metal straw rather than a plastic one is the specific claim here, and it is a reasonable one — plastic straws scuff, hold flavour and shed over time, and the whole bottle is BPA free. What a straw bottle does not do is hot drinks in practice. The spec says 12 hours hot and the steel will hold it, but drinking a hot drink through a metal straw is not a thing anyone enjoys, so treat the hot rating as "your tea will still be warm at lunchtime if you unscrew the lid", not as a way to drink coffee on the move.
The other cost is cleaning. A straw, a spout and a lid gasket are three more things to get at than a plain screw cap, and any straw bottle used for squash or protein needs rinsing the same day rather than the next.
