De'Longhi Dedica EC680.BK Espresso Coffee Machine - Black

De'Longhi Dedica EC680.BK Espresso Coffee Machine - Black

Slim 15-bar pump espresso machine with manual steam wand — makes espresso, cappuccino and latte at home in a body just 6cm wide. Ready in 35 seconds.

Features

The De'Longhi Dedica EC 680 is a compact pump espresso machine designed for kitchens where counter space is tight. At just 14.9cm wide, it slots into gaps where most espresso machines won't fit, without compromising on the things that matter: 15-bar pump pressure and a fast-heating Thermoblock that's ready to brew in around 35 seconds.

The 3-in-1 portafilter takes single shots, double shots and ESE pods, so you can swap between freshly ground beans and convenient pods without changing equipment. A manual steam wand handles milk for cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites, and the 1.5-litre removable tank means fewer refills.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the De'Longhi Dedica EC 680 compatible with Nespresso capsules?
No, the EC 680 is not compatible with Nespresso capsules. It uses ground coffee or ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) pods via its 3-in-1 portafilter.
What grind should I use with the EC 680?
Use a fine espresso grind, finer than you'd use for a cafetière but not as fine as Turkish coffee. Dialling in your grind is the single biggest factor in pulling a good shot.
Can the EC 680 make cappuccinos and lattes?
Yes. The manual steam wand produces cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites. Getting consistent silky microfoam takes a bit of practice, but the wand has plenty of power.
How often should I descale the EC 680?
The machine has a descale indicator that lights up when descaling is due. De'Longhi recommends their EcoDecalk descaler, and the full cycle takes about 30 minutes.
What's the difference between the EC 680 and EC 685?
The EC 685 adds an improved cappuccino system and more premium finishes. Espresso quality is comparable, so the EC 680 offers most of the experience at a lower price.
